Official Announcement: Floor Recoating and Temporary Closures

We’re excited to announce that we’re getting the floor recoated to ensure a top-notch skating experience for years to come! Here’s what you need to know:

Schedule:

• Recoating Date: Monday, February 16th

• Closures: We will be closed February 16, 17, 18, and 19 to allow the floor to properly set. We will be open for PM operations on the 19th.

After Recoating:

• For the next two weeks (approx.), please note that there may be strong fumes similar to those from fresh paint as the new surface airs out.

• To protect the new coating, “sliders” or skates with wood or fiber wheels will not be permitted until Sunday, March 8.

• We will inspect all skates before use to ensure they’re floor-safe.

We understand this temporary restriction on sliders might inconvenience some skaters, but it’s a necessary step to maintain the integrity and longevity of the new floor.
