Our Skate Shop carries roller skates (speed, derby, rhythm and jam), and recreational inline skates for indoor/outdoor. Plus all kinds of skate accessories including wheels, bearings, skate bags, tools, protective gear & apparel.  If we don't have it in stock, we can order it.  We have the largest inventory of skates and parts in Washington.  Our Skate Shop is open during all public sessions times.

Tips for your Skates

​

Be careful of bargain skates.  Some have wheels made of PVC plastic and are very slippery in skating rinks. Also way too hard for outdoors.  All wheels should be made of urathane.  Some hard for tight floors, and some very soft for outdoors, and many hardnesses in between for your skating style.  On roller skates, it is crucial for the axles on the skate to be mounted  in the right place. The front axle should be dead center under the ball of your foot and the back one slightly behind your ankle.  All axles should be flush with the edge of the wheels edge, and all skates should have a toe stop or dance plug in order to be allowed on the skating floor.
